Candle Care 

The first time lighting your candle, please burn until you have a full melting pool across top which typically takes 1 – 2 hours. Soy candles have a memory and once this first initial burn has taken place, this will keep the candle burning evenly from here on out and will prevent the candle from tunneling.  Do not leave your candle unattended or burning longer than 4 hours at a time. Remember to trim your wick before each usage. If your candle begins to mushroom or provide black smoke/soot, this means your wick is too long and should be trimmed! Avoid moving candle after lighting, keep away from vents, drafts, or ceiling fans.
